They managed to keep the band alive after Robert died and I was at their first live gig at Norwegian wood.
It was so brilliant that i cried ..... and so did the critics next day :D
I can not wait for tomorrow to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a fabulous weekend in the sun!

Saturday we saw : Rufus Wainwright, Billy Talent and our beloved Madrugada

Sunday it was a bit hard to get up and it rained so we didn`t rush it ;)
But then in the afternoon the sun broke trough and we got our boots on and went merry on our way again.
Sunday we got to see Hellbillies and Alanis Morisette

So all in all I was happy, high and very content with my -mini Woodstock (as The Foo Fighters had said on Thursday)

As you can see we where almost on the stage, no one in front of us this time *lol* Just the way I like it!!!!!

As you know seekie and I went to the music festival 'Down on the farm' this Friday. We mainly went to see Sivert Høyem & the Volunteers. seekie took a lot of pictures and she also made a video.
It`s the encore, and he`s playing 'Kids are on high street' a Madrugada song. He was all alone on stage doing this and he dedicated it to Robert Burås, Madrugadas guitarist who died the 12 th of juli. You might have seen my post about that.
It was a glorious night and I cried quite a lot during this performance but still....... We had a really good festival, and I just want to do it again soon.

I`ve been going there all through the 90`s. Back then I was camping and partying all we, this time we are taking the buss home and probably will only go Friday *getting old* But then again Friday has the best bands/artists as far as I`m concerned so It will be great even if it`s just for one evening/night *gg*
My beloved Sivert from my lost Madrugada is playing with his solo band. Grant-Lee Phillips from Grant-Lee Buffalo and Brian Ferry are also playing. And then lather at the barn our local favorites Onkel Tuka are playing. There is even a campfire stage for jamming into the night. I`m so looking forward to this. The buses are going home to town every hour so we can go home when ever we feel like it. Should be a good Friday night *happysigh*
