- It’s a fucking mini Woodstock out there!! Norwegian Wood in Oslo 08

It was a fabulous weekend in the sun!

Saturday we saw : Rufus Wainwright, Billy Talent and our beloved Madrugada

Rufus in the suit that brought out the sun (or so HE said) :D


Cute boy with a great voice and a clear political message (Fuck Bush ! *snickers*)

Then there was Billy Talent: A Canadian young punk\rock band. Very energetic and a fun live experience, but not my thing.
 

And then it was finally time for Madrugada, with two new guitarists to replace Robert Burås. They gave us a concert that made us cry with pleasure, and we where very happy to see that the press agreed with us the next day :D







And then we flew off in to the summer night in the city !!!!

Sunday it was a bit hard to get up and it rained so we didn`t rush it ;)
But then in the afternoon the sun broke trough and we got our boots on and went merry on our way again.
Sunday we got to see Hellbillies and Alanis Morisette


Hellbillies is an old favorite of mine and they put on a hell of a show, it was so great and they seemed to have loads of fun playing for us too.




And then it was time for the little lady with the big voice: Alanis Morisette:




When she came back on and did 'Ironic' we where all singing and it sounded like there was only girls in Oslo *lol*
She did not get the best review the day after I read in the paper,but we where happy and she gave us what we asked her for: All her old hits.

So all in all I was happy, high and very content with my -mini Woodstock (as The Foo Fighters had said on Thursday)
